TeviSystems is currently seeking a senior project manager to support
multiple projects developing custom software applications. The Sr. Project Manager
must possess strong organizational skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills,
work well with clients and internal team, and work effectively both independently and as part of
a team. The Project Manager also has to have the ability to balance simultaneous projects and
in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the project lead in the management, coordinating, and scheduling of software development projects from inception to completion as an integral part of a cross-functional team.
- The Project manager will serve as a consultant to clients on everything from web and application design and development, to collaborative models and software methodologies, to budget recommendations and negotiations.
- Exercises authority to make decisions and resolve disputes; understands when to escalate issues to Program Manager
- Provides project resources with guidance as required to ensure progress is sustained and to fulfill project goals.
- Manages project financials; monitors and controls expenses; communicates variances with management and clients.
- Effectively communicate and control scope, project schedules, assignments, and open issues with internal team members and clients.
- Acts as project expert retaining and communicating all project-related history, information for client, and resources.
- Expected to facilitate and lead meetings and presentations.
- Ability to create organization methods and tools most appropriate to an individual project.
- Predict issues/risks and consult with clients and team leads to find creative resolutions to schedule/resource conflicts.
- Lead project teams to ensure deadlines are met and within budget.
- Work with all (internal and external) teams to identify and resolve issues found during QA.
- Manage support contracts and issue tracking for clients.
- Supports development of Program Management processes and programs.
Requirements:
- This position requires a minimum of 5 years of project management experience, in addition to the following:
- PMP Certification required
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience required
- Knowledge of project management and expert knowledge of software development practices and technologies
- Professional experience with industry standard project management tools including Microsoft Project, time tracking, and budget tracking
- Strong analytical, planning, problem solving, and organizational skills
- Exemplary interpersonal and communication skills; basic negotiation skills
- Flexible and capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast paced, high volume environment

- Ability to easily learn new COTS products and requirements for integration
- Experience designing and implementing corporate wide IT strategies based on .NET platform, SQL Server, and Sharepoint
- Ability to communicate technical requirements, business requirements and functions with all levels of organization
- Ability to develop comprehensive understanding of IT environments and best practices to maximize ROI for technology objectives.
- Broad experience with COTS implementations and integrations

TeviSystems is currently seeking a Business Analyst to become part of an integrated team
supporting a project in Rockville, MD.
Key Responsibilities:
- Primary role is to provide support for our client in the Program Office in the following areas:
- Supports the development of organizational programs and processes
- Develops and implements testing process and procedures specific to individual projects
- Perform documentation / artifact reviews
- Develops training materials for products and procedures as needed
- Communications support for related activities between the business units
- Support for systems analysis and strategic planning tasks.
- Provides project team with guidance as required to ensure progress is sustained and project goals are fulfilled
Experience:
- Requires a minimum of 5 years of IT experience
- Broad understanding of software development methodologies
- Professional experience with industry standard project management tools including Microsoft Office Suite, Access, Microsoft Project, issue tracking, and time tracking
- Strong analytical, planning, problem solving, and organizational skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
